SYNTEX single crystal diffractometer
(with 4-circle goniometer), operated by the group of
Professor Sossina Haile. This instrument is employed
primarily for crystal structure determinations. It is
equipped with a temperature controller that has a range
of 80 to 450K. Using this instrument extensive studies
of novel solid acids of interest for their proton conductivity
have been carried out.
